JEMS is a student-led group in the Department of Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Central Florida. We meet biweekly during the academic year and students present recent publications in materials science.
Mission
Our goal is to develop the skills needed to evaluate scientific literature, communicate technical ideas clearly, and stay current with advances across the field. Each session features a research article presentation followed by a short professional development segment.
We welcome participants at all levels and from adjacent departments.
